At the end of the month UltramapGlobal’s Assistant Director of Operations Sam Teasdale is heading to the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton for an ESCA (European Subsea Cables Association) workshop.
About The Workshop.
This workshop is an introduction to subsea cables: To learn about their design, planning, installation, repair and other influencing factors.
- A workshop for new entrants to industry, governments, regulators, stakeholders, to gain broad insight into subsea cables and project lifecycle.
- A walk through the lifecycle of subsea cable projects; route planning, licencing, consultation, installation, maintenance and decommissioning.
- And of course, networking opportunities.
