DEME is a world leader in the highly specialised fields of dredging, marine engineering and environmental remediation.
The company can build on more than 140 years of know-how and experience and has fostered a pioneering approach throughout its history, being a front-runner in innovation and new technologies.
Sustainability.
DEME’s vision is to contribute to sustainable solutions for the global environmental, societal and economic challenges facing our world today.
And it is for these reasons and more that UltraMAP is pleased to have delivered the contract to support the DEME Group while realising the MOG (Modular Offshore Grid) Project off the coast of Belgium. By installing two 40km export cables and one 5km inter connector cable (all 3×1800 mm2 and OD 276mm), we were able to monitor dredged trenches and installed submarine power cables until post-lay backfill was completed.
Specifically, UltraMAP supplied AssetMonitor and monitoring services that interacted with the projects Guard Vessels.
A Truly Global Presence.
While the company’s roots are in Belgium, DEME has built a strong presence in all of the world’s seas and continents, operating in more than 90 countries worldwide. DEME can rely on 5,200 highly skilled professionals across the globe. With a versatile and modern fleet of over 100 vessels, backed by a broad range of auxiliary equipment, the company can provide solutions for even the most complex projects.
It is a real pleasure to be working with a global brand that not only is good – but that does good, too.
