Martin and Mychael from UltramapGlobal were at The Submarine Networks EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Exhibition in Islington, London, in February 2025. Submarine Networks EMEA is the UK’s largest annual subsea connectivity event for the global subsea market.
We took the opportunity to chat with three UltramapGlobal customers, looking for useful soundbites about our working relationship – from the outside-in. Here’s what they said (a 30 second read).

“I suppose the first thing to mention is that UltramapGlobal’s Sam (Teasdale) is very good. Sam is quick to respond. And with good, clear emails. Undeniably – we do feel looked after and protected by UltramapGlobal.
The archived and ever-expanding data stored by UltramapGlobal is so useful too. We ask for reports, and what we get back is so comprehensive. I really do think that, because UltramapGlobal keeps everything they ever record, and that’s over 100 million vessel movements daily, the data archive is extremely valuable not just to organisations like Crosslake Fibre – but to much larger entities such as governments, too.”
